This humble but glorious spring flower is massed with miniature sky blue flowers. Excellent for rock gardens and cutting. A biennial which reseeds freely, prefers a moist semi-shaded area.

Planting:
Start inside 8–10 weeks before planting out. Lightly cover seed and provide an average soil warmth, 21 degrees C. May also be direct seeded in early spring. Transplant in early spring into a full sun to part shade location, 6–8 inches apart.
Growing:
Must have moist soil and prefers cool location. If summers are hot, provide some shade. Self-seeds freely if you do not remove spent flowers.
